Share Your Story Workshop – Tuesday April 7th

Join us for an evening of Stories from Central as we continue to explore this history, homes and personal tales of the Central Neighbourhood and it’s residents.

Workers Arts & Heritage Building – 7 pm to 9.30 pm.

For the past few weeks residents have been gathering stories and now it’s time to share our tales!

A StoryShare is a chance to tell your tale in front of an audience and hone your storytelling skills.

There are a few rules about the StoryShare!

1. Stories must be told, not read.
2. Stories must be no longer than 7 minutes.
3. The stories must be true…ish.
4. We welcome songs as well as stories.

Invite your friends, your neighbours, anyone who might be interested in hearing tales.

Please RSVP to Project Coordinator Lisa Pijuan-Nomura at as spaces are limited.

Stories from Central is a project in collaboration with Central Neighbourhood Association and Workers Arts & Heritage Centregenerously funded by Hamilton Community Foundation. A series of workshops focusing on stories of homes, heritage and personal tales will culminate in a walking tour of the neighbourhood on May 3 starting at 1:00 p.m. at WAHC.
