CasiNO Still a Possibility?

Thanks to Matt Jelly for keeping us up to date on this and also for not letting delay and obstruction get in the way of freedom to important information that affects our neighbourhood.  Exactly the type of development we DO NOT need.

Our question and the response for the election candidates meeting a few months ago seems sadly to have been insightful.  Hoping that if elected those candidates will remember their responses.

Peoples Platform Locations for September 21st

Peoples Platform

The Peoples Platform have announced the locations for their Citywide Community Forums – the one closest for Central Neighbourhood seems to be Sir John A MacDonald.

Forums run from 1-4 pm this Sunday 21st September.

The People’s Platform is a non-partisan initiative of the Hamilton Civic League supported by a coalition of community partners. We are bringing people together from all across Hamilton to come up with a vision for the future of the city. We will develop a platform based on that vision, present it to the candidates in the city election, and ask them to consider adopting it. Then we will report back to the public on which candidates support The People’s Platform, and finally, the people will decide who to support on October 27.
